Just saw the Green Knight. Fair to say it’s not a particularly accessible film. Several people in my showing walked out. But it’s a beautiful, surreal, original piece of filmmaking. Think Terry Gilliam but darker, weirder, and even less coherent.

I don’t think I saw the original, but what I heard is they are pretty similar. I don’t get the title, but maybe it has a deeper meaning.
I assume it's because the original title is in Swedish and the phrase makes sense in that language.

I watched Wizards last night for the first time in decades. The mixed style of animation, with the rotoscoping and textured backgrounds and the prog-jazz soundtrack...it's something you don't get anymore. Gotta admit I've done a 180 on Ralph Bakshi's work and become a fan.

A few year old now, but it showed up on Netflix. Den of Thieves is an awesome film and no idea why the reviews were not great.
And ya, I am sure there are plenty of comparisons to Heat, but I see it more as a successor than a rip-off.
Spoiler!
Not a huge fan of the twist at the end, but it certainly didn't ruin the film. Would have maybe preferred just a simple 'cops win, robbers lose' ending.

I really want to see this but I have the feeling my wife is going to hate it so I will just wait for it to get to rental price.

Fritz the Cat and Cool World are coming out to Blu ray for the first time this year so might want to check those out as well. I watched American Pop recently and it was amazing!
Ryan Reynolds. man
has there ever been a guy so good looking and yet so funny?
yet he has the voice of a 16 year old nerd.. It really is a weird hybrid.
Free Guy... just watched it. 1st part was great. 2nd part was slow and hot garbage. Also that villain guy was pathetic. He should stick to directing and NEVER act in another film in his life!
Seeing Alex Trebek teared me up though.

Yeah, Reynold’s voice is really similar to Jim Gaffigan’s “inner voice”.
Loved Free Guy start to finish.
The Ted Lasso of movies, meaning just the sort of feel good nonsense we all need right now.
Also, if t was fun to go out to a movie again.
