Wasn’t he due a signing bonus on the 4th?
Regardless, congrats to one of the best-looking resumes in all of sports, Brady. Enjoy retirement! Thought you were going to play forever!

Good for him, he had nothing left to prove, He even proved that he didn't need BB to win. He won a bunch of championships. Married a model had some kids, is rich for the next 3 generations.
He dosen't need to get the snot kicked out of him at 44. I expect he'll do some TV work. Or maybe team up with the Manning brothers.

He tried to be Bill in Denver and it didn't work. He even said as much in the presser. The guy is a very good OC and considered one of the bright minds in the league. If it doesn't work out, it doesn't work out but to me he's the most accomplished of all the coaches hired this offseason and it's a sensible hire as they will finally operate like a normal NFL organization. It's a hell of a lot better than spider 2 y banana Gruden/Mayock and Del Rio/McKenzie.

Hey don't be begrudging a good spider 2 y banana man. I even run a version of it called an action 34 1185 FB arrow west in my playbook. It works almost every time.

Damn, that post by Brady is the biggest snub I have ever seen unless he signs a 1 day deal with Pats.

The Giants aren't really that far behind the Jets in terms of being a complete dumpster fire.

Holy crap....if that proves to be true, you can bet the league/other owners will chase Ross out of the NFL.
That is extortion/gambling/point shaving level stuff.

Flores says he left the yacht and was labelled as difficult to work with from that point onwards within the organization.
Will be interesting to see how this plays out.

I mean I think he can go ahead and not even bother showing up for his last couple interviews. Definitely brave of him to go all-in on this, because surely his NFL coaching career is now over.

To be fair Elway and Ellis are known drunken degenerates so that’s just a normal Tuesday afternoon for them.

Even so that would be impossible to prove or be used as evidence. Props to him for sacrificing his career to do what he thinks is the right thing. The issue with the Rooney rule was that it was always going to lead to token interviews as a lot of owners and GM's have their guy in mind before they even start interviewing. Mark Davis had Del Rio, Gruden, and likely McDaniels pegged in so any interviews with black candidates were done strictly to follow the rules. Not sure if he can win his case but he could bring the Dolphins down.

Also for a guy that's supposedly to detail oriented to a fault, how the hell did Belichick screw that text up so bad?

Wow Tom Bray Bray retires and not a single post about it!
I will forever be indebted to him for beating the Seanucks in Superbowl 49!
My favourite Republican. Now lets ruin your legacy by you going into politics!

Now I’m no conspiracy theorist but I could easily be convinced Bill “accidentally” did that in order to screw over a division rival

I mean that might be the worst screw job ever. If Ross is forced to sell that's a mega win for the Dolphins, and a big loss for the Pats. Instead of another loser owner in division someone decent might end up owning them.

In all seriousness I can’t imagine this ends up being more than a PR nightmare for the NFL for a little bit. Maybe the 100k per loss offer forces the NFL to burn Ross but proving what we all unfortunately already know about the NFL, its owners, and its hiring processes has got to be a high bar to clear in court right?
