Another sunset shot:

I absolutely love the sunset views from my balcony in Sep/Oct/Nov.

A couple of buddies of mine recently teamed up to design/paint a mural at the Bankview Community Centre. I swung by a few weeks ago to snap some pics and help lay down some paint.

I never really saw the appeal of VSCO Film presets before (they just don't seem to lend themselves to landscapes), but once you get some skin tones in there it starts to click a bit more.

^^ That sure makes me wish I weren't in the middle of Shanghai right now. Makes me miss Canada.

This is in the Crowsnest Pass area (which is North of Waterton), along highway 3 that goes into BC.
It's a beautiful area. All the other pics were from Waterton. There is a lot packed into that small area.

Ahh cool. I've been down around Crowsnest a couple times and found some nice spots. I'll have to head further South and check the area out!!

Here's one from this past weekend, Mr.MastadonFarm and I went out and took a few Saturday morning.

I took a food photography workshop this morning through The Camera Store with Ingrid Kue showing us some tricks of the trade.

Unfortunately the wireless triggers they had set up didn't want to play nicely with my a6000, so I missed out the speed light set ups, but the soft boxes and reflectors worked quite well. Thankfully I didn't pay for the class (won it through twitter) or I'd have been a little more upset about that.

I also picked up the Sony 35mm f/1.8 beforehand, so I had some great subject matter for my "test shots"

anyone get any shots of the lunar eclipse? this was about the best i could get - it was tough, the eclipse had already started by the time the moon rose, so it was just this dull 'blob' in the sky making it really hard to get in focus

this was the best i could get....

Here is my Super Blood Mon shot from last night. Nice to have an excuse to pull out the zoom lens and tripod which I have not used for a fairly long time.

Mine were caught at different stages of the eclipse... And I didn't have my tripod, so it's not the best
