Ya I saw that too, had my eye on it yesterday. I'm sort of holding out hope for a co-MVP year, but after seeing those results, its pretty clear its gonna be Rodgers. I bet Brees gets Offensive POY. Again, not saying Rodgers isn't deserving. Just that its a shame such a record-breaking season isn't going to result in MVP. As I said earlier, just really hope he can win one before he retires.

Colts GM spot is down to 7 candidates:
Those seven candidates are believed to be Colts director of player personnel Tom Telesco; Atlanta Falcons director of player personnel Les Snead and Falcons director of college scouting David Caldwell; Dallas Cowboys director of scouting Tom Ciskowski; New York Giants director of college scouting Marc Ross; Philadelphia Eagles director of player personnel Ryan Grigson and Jim Popp, general manager of the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League.

Looks like the Chiefs are going to make Romeo Crennel their full time head coach. He is pretty well respected by the players in the locker room, and seems pretty well respected league wide. It's pretty much what I was hoping for, keep Romeo and try to find an accomplished OC to pair him with. I bet Charlie Weiss would have stuck around if RAC was the HC and would let him handle the offence. Hopefully Jim Zorn gets turfed...that guy makes any offence he's associated with into a complete disaster.

I would not be surprised at all if this was Williams' last year in N.O. Frankly it even sounded like he was gonna leave last year, but decided to stay after the Seattle playoff loss because he didn't want to go out on that note.
But I was under the impression he was looking for an HC gig. I know he's friends with Fisher, but does he really want to make a lateral move to a much worse team? Money talks though, so I guess it depends what they throw at him.

I don't mind Childress as OC... The bar isn't set very high because I think my toenail clippings could do a better job running the offense then Greg Olson did.
Please stay away from Nolan. He'll try to switch to a 3-4, which in a sense wastes our last two drafts and puts us even further away from competing.

Anyone have any go to mock draft sites that are more than just fans putting together something stupid? Looking for something that goes at least 3 rounds and that is based in actual expert analysis.

How in the world is Holmes going to be allowed back in that locker room as the hits keep on coming for him?

Mixed reactions on the Hue firing. The writing was on the wall when McKenzie was hired as Hue's end of season media conference probably sealed the deal blaming the players and defenive staff and saying he wanted to take on more power within the organization. Not things an incoming GM probably wants to hear.
Personally I loved Hue the OC. Best OC I have seen in years. The Raiders finished 9th in total offense despite only having McFadden for the first 6 games and losing his starting QB and bringing in a new QB off his couch on the fly. Quite amazing actually when you see what happened for instance in Indy. In a perfect world Hue would stay on as OC. However I didn't like Hue the head coach nearly as much. His head swelled too big when Davis died and the Palmer deal was simply a poor football deal. For that deal to work the Raiders would have had to go far in the playoffs and that was never going to happen with Chuckles the Clown (the worst defensive coordinator in the history of the NFL) running the defense. I think he will resurface as he is too smart an offensive mind to be out of work for long but he is going to have to learn to work with others better and remember his place.
Well that smoke turned into fire and next is the smoke that Matt Flynn may be on McKenzie's radar especially if Moss turns out to be the head coach.

Make it happen Ozzie get rid of that idiot Cam Cameron and hire Hue back, wouldn't mind seeing him a have a dual role like QB coach/OC either.
Micheal Lombardi said that Darren Perry will be a strong candidate to be the DC in Oakland.
