And rightfully so. Aligning the rules won’t help anything. Canada is never getting an nfl team, period. People don’t like American rules better, they like the nfl better.
The game isn’t sold out because it’s cold AF and tickets are $500.

I like the NFL rules better. And I’m not advocating for an NFL franchise for Toronto.
CFL is dying and I think if the rules were at least the same, you’d get more interest.
Certainly whatever they are doing now isn’t working.
Anyway I’m done with the rules discussion. Will just watch/comment on the game.

48 cameras and TSN's shot of that FG was from the sideline cam like it was 1973.
The direct on shot on the replay made it look really close.

I'm not going to get into the debate that deeply but frankly I like the CFL rules, the sense of urgency, the speed of play, the need for more passing.
If the CFL adopted the NFL rules, I would probably stop watching because what's the point if there's the NFL at the same time, and they would have all the good players playing the American rules. At that point the CFL would become a feeder league.
The CFL and Ambroise have done a pathetic rule of marketing the game, especially to the next generation.
