Maybe weren't calling him selfish, but he was an obvious problem child, otherwise Pitt wouldn't have traded the 26 year old Super Bowl MVP coming off a career year...........

I would be more than okay with teams trading up to take RG3. I make no bones about who I want the Vikings to take, they NEED a franchise LT. And I think Khalil has to be the pick. Granted so much can change from now until April.

The way to build a team is from the trenches on our. Rams have long and Quinn on defensive the tackle position needs fixing.
Offensive tackle is a issue but I'm not sure about Khalil. We have already invested high picks on our tackles. Are we going to put a 60 million guy at guard and take another tackle?
I'd trade down and get more picks. There are some glaring holes on the rams.

Chuckles the Clown was a complete and utter disaster as it's still shocking how the Raiders finished 8-8 with IMO the worst defense I have ever seen in my life.

He won't win any awards this year compared to the stats other quarterbacks put up but Eli Manning deserves a ton of credit for the year he had, on a team with the 32nd ranked running game.

While Eli gets it there, I think Victor Cruz is the real spark in that offence. He had an elite season and a lot of it (from what I saw on highlights) was an incredible catch or done after the catch.

Absolutly also McKenzie was a LB for the Raiders in the mid 80's so welcome back to the family McKenzie we have been waiting for you!
Just a rumour but his son is the Director of Player personal for the Packers and is likely to be hired as well.

This rumor has been going on for weeks actually before the recent announcement. Ron Wolf is the man that recommended McKenzie to the Raiders in the first place and it's been speculated that Elliot Wolf would come along with Reggie.

HC - Jim Harbough. Too much talk about how he sabatoged his team in free agency to get into the Luck sweepstakes, then, well they play in the NFC West so it's easy to win, but 5-1 in the division and 8-2 out of the division is too telling to pass him up for this.
Defensive ROY - Aldon Smith. Real close for Von Miller, just getting hurt and not playing as well down the stretch will hurt his chances. I know Aldon Smith is only a 3rd down back but he produced extremely well in that role. Probably could keep him from winning it though.
Offesive ROY - Cam Newton. Breaking the record for passing by a rookie and leading the crappy Panthers to 6 wins with the pressure of being the number 1 overall pick is huge in my opinion.
Breakout player of the year - Rob Gronkowski. Freak! Jimmy Graham close 2nd as an equal freak.
Defensive Player of the year - Jared Allen. Minny is so crappy it might go to Jason Pierre Paul for making a bigger difference on a winning team.
Offensive Player of the year - Drew Brees. I think he wins this, but not MVP. Gotta get something for breaking a 20 year old passing record...
Comeback Player of the year - Reggie Bush. From 3rd down back to 1000+ yard rusher. Miami was a good fit. McGahee my second choice, from washed up back up, to exceling in Denver.

Bengals Mike Brown should win Executive of the year for the turnaround of the Bengals plus the extra 1st rounders he will have for the Palmer trade.

yup thats the word. Also as you probably know Wolf was hired from Green Bay to the Raiders so there is the connection. Wolf has been the driving force on this.
Looks good.

Fins will/have interview(ed) GB OC Philbin and have been granted permission to interview Atlanta OC Mike Mularkey.
Not a fan of Mularkey, if they end up going that route, give a new guy a chance. Unfortunately, sounds like Fisher will end up in St. Louis.

SUUUUUPER stoked about McD being back especially having him for the playoff tourney.
BoB was a great offensive coordinator but McD is a definite upgrade he drew up such unique game plans cant wait for him to pick up where he left off. Also not having to transition to a new OC and having some familiarity is gonna be huge for 2012.
An interesting tidbit is that McD faced Baltimore, Pittsburgh and Cincy in the regular season he could provide some great insight on potential playoff foes.

You're probably right, and A-Rodg is very deserving, obviously. But I don't know how Brees' records can just be sluffed off. Not only did he set the single season passing yards and pass completions records, but he also set the completion percentage mark (71.2) in the same year, which is incredible if you think about it.
If he doesn't win it, IMO that's the greatest non-MVP season in NFL history. There's been many NFL MVP's in previous years who didn't have years as good as that. Just hope he can win one before he retires, he deserves it. You can make the argument he's been the best QB in the league over the last 5 seasons.

Yup....Brees is #2 in MVP race by a mile ahead of others and real close to Rodgers.
But when you factor in that Rodgers beat Brees already, didnt lose a game in which he played, and set the standard as the most efficient QB in the history of the game and only turned the ball over 6 times all season.....its really a no-brainer who wins it.
The All_pro voting came out yesterdayand is usually a good indicator of who wins the awards...the most votes one can receive is 50...Rodgers received 47 1/2 to Brees 2 1/2
