I wonder if all you have to do is get the trade in the queue before 1:00pm, then perhaps wait for Kadri to waive the NTC to finalize the deal?

I guess I get that somewhat but is this the depreciated asset to pump and dump?

Famously bad skater, injured/healthy scratched this year, 4 years off of 20 goals 50 marks, will be 33 next year. What's the value to be gained here? Also they're for sure going to have to retain on him next year when they do flip him.

TSN said earlier the player needs to waive his NTC/NMC first — otherwise the league won’t even allow the trade call.

In my mind I agree with you.

I'm just trying for the life of me to justify this deal. I won't lose complete faith in Conroy is this is it today, but there'll definitely be a good dent in his armor.

Let's be real here.

This deal doesn't even make much sense even IF Kadri was moved today.

Kerins could come up, no immediate need to win games. Just a brutal trade, hopefully the Ducks don't land a Dustin Wolf with that 7th.
