Too bad about the wind, but it's Calgary after all... a spotter has caught our new Frankfurt visitor (and the world's most powerful jet engines, I have to add that every time)

WestJet could be introducing a direct YHZ-YQY flight. The pieces seem to fit

Seriously, what a let down that would be for everyone but me, eh?

Apparently there are about 30 photos of the sequence of this crash, would love to see them so we can see how it all happened. Minor injuries only, some cuts and scrapes:

Air Canada is reportedly converting some of the 788 orders to the 789.

Original order was 15x 788 and 22x 789. It will now be 11x 788 and 26x 789.

These still aren't certified yet?

I thought they were supposed to be already delivering them to clients.

Well...out flight wasn't as fast but we did manage to get over 200mph with a tail wind. It was such a nice day yesterday a buddy and I did a quick trip to medicine Hat and back.

Piper Comanche, nice bird. I did my twin engine training in the Twin Comanche, I quite liked flying that plane.

I'm guessing that Learjet doing the photoshoot with the AC 787 is the Clay Lacy bird.
