It was a hazy day in BC (due to the forest fires), the Sun made a nice appearance and lit up these mountain peaks for a brief time. 6 image panorama. Kicking Horse Panorama |

I didn't say anything for awhile because I couldn't think of a way to say it without making it sound like the pics weren't great back in the day. They were.

But following this thread over the years kind of feels like watching an NHL team go from a young rebuilding team to a contender, haha.

A bunch of draft picks with a few star veterans mixed in to help the team grow. Now they're like the Chicago Blackhawks, winning cups with their content on a regular basis.

Went to the Table 5 bridge the other evening. Liked it a lot more up close and walking across is. The arches, the angles, the lines are gorgeous. Very wide bridge as well and liked the seating in the middle, almost wish there was more. The side bridge to the island looks awful especially looking at it from the north sidewalk though.
Why aren't the arches lit up though??? Seems like a big miss. The lights along the side are rails are great, they put on a show at times too.

Not happy with the photos I got so probably won't post any but a nice spot and will be going back with my camera.

Sweet, I have a bridge named after me. But yeah, that ramp onto St Patricks Island is pretty ghetto. You would've thought they could've come up with a more elegant solution.
And yeah, I wish they would light up the arches as well, it would make a killer visual. Since the whole bridge is meant to evoke skipping rocks across a pond, it would be kind of neat if they could mimic that effect with light, where you have some colored light "skipping" across the length of the arches.

St Patrick's park opens up tomorrow btw, so that should give us a few more new things look at and photograph.

Most of the old farmhouses I find largely look very similar. So when I find one that has a distinct feature, like this one with this cool bank of windows, it is notable.
