If I had time, I'd love to study crysaitl and the average distance and speed he skates per game. F'er coasts around half speed to his perch on the right circle. Little else. Hashtag Coattails, like Hyman.

I just saw the Oilers took Xavier Bourgault and Wyatt Johntson went the very next pick. Nice to see it doesn't just happen to the Flames.

I think a lot of teams that pick just ahead of the Stars in the early rounds of drafts have ended up looking pretty bad of late.

Rest assured, had the Oilers chosen a player like Johnston he'd languish in their system and not be the player he is now.

I assume it is some metric that involves

>Sweat Pants
>Dress Shoes
>Women with bruises on their legs
>Inter Fan fighting
>Wearing you team jersey to a game/sports event that doesn't involve your team

I'm sure there are others.

I mean. I'm a Flames fan. And I think Flames fans are generally 'passive but passionate.'

I'm not going to get in anyone's face or anything, either good or bad.

I went to the Champion's League final between Liverpool and Real Madrid and I got into 0 fights or confrontations.

Unless you count knocking over that French Soldier, but that hardly counts, it was an accident and I apologized and pretty much anyone can knock over a French soldier.

even if it was a survey, are you likely going to answer in affirmative if someone asks you if you're willing to start a fight about hockey, even if you are?

Further, what does the venn diagram of people willing to answer survey questions and rowdy hockey fan even look like? I'm willing to bet that middle is vanishingly small.

It’s obviously correct so who are we to question the methods?

Just came here to say I don't know what I'd do without CP, especially this E=NG thread, in these challenging times (i.e. when the oilers are in the playoffs). I feel like I'm taking crazy pills with all of these closet oilers supporters appearing in the streets of Calgary. When did it become ok to cheer for those losers? My son's (Calgary) lacrosse team has at least five parents always wearing oilers gear. It makes me sick. Coming to CP and seeing folks that hate the oilers as much as I do is a huge relief.

I'm a flames fan in Edmonton. People move around.

They should really should go back to publicly fining individuals for embellishing like that. Oilers could probably build a new Ronald McDonald house from this season.

I don't know why the NHL stopped fining it. From what I recall, there was a ladder of disciplinary action starting with escalating fines, and finally a suspension. I don't recall if anyone was ever suspended for it, but I definitely recall there being fines for a few players. Then the NHL just stopped enforcing it.

That was really pathetic by Draisaitl. I didn't watch the game, but was there a penalty called on the play?
