Assuminig Locker comes back for his senior year, that team could move way up the PAC 10 standings next season. Chris Polk looks like the real deal as a freshman.

Few things make me smile as much as watching Buckeye fans getting their hearts ripped out every time they play in an important game.

The game winning drive in the last minutes is almost as good was watching USC dismantle OSU last year.

Was out of town without internet access this weekend... Just got to watch the OU game ... I know it was Idaho state but The O line looks more disciplined and Landry Jones looked great, throwing 3 Td's .... We will see what happens next week against Tulsa.....

Oh and just want to take a shot to call out Okla St. ...... they are kinda like my College Football edmonton oilers.

Montana had better beat them by 50.

Montana squeaked by UC Davis 17-10 on the road. Not impressed.

They have explosive Portland State next Saturday in Missoula as the Big Sky conference schedule gets going. Go Griz!

And you should....Houston is a great offensive team, but if you're top 5 you don't lose to Houston at home. Horrible stuff for Cowboys fans.

the officiating of that Irish wolverine game was brutal. I know the Irish kept shooting themselves in the foot with stupid holding calls and false starts but that game shouldn't have close. Also, why throw 2 passes at the end when you have to run down the clock. I know that if Floyd was still in the game besides the freshman Shaq Evans, he would've made that catch to solidify that 1st down. Regardless, it was a very very tough loss. Sorry lol i'm still sick over that.

How long does OSU hang on to sweater vest? Sure he wins 9-10 games every year and beats the pants off of Michigan, but he's quickly making OSU football obsolete and inadequate. Rolling through the Big 11 schedule is impressive and all (), but whenever OSU steps out of conference against teams other than Southern Ohio Tech A&M, they get run out of the stadium.

OSU and Oklahoma - the pinnicale of big game choke artists.

Beating Michigan is single biggest requirement to coach OSU...and he has done that in spades.

He isnt going anyhwere soon....unless they lose to the Wolverines this year.

Another good showing from Auburn and their offense. Big test with WVU coming to town next week followed by two road SEC games. Glad to see they are finally using Burns the right way and he is paying off. WAR EAGLE!!!

Since when is losing on a last minute touchdown being "run out of the stadium"???

OSU has been pretty weak non-conference over the last 4 years, but last weekend doesn't really fit into that. Neither does a late loss to a Texas team that a good portion of the country thought should have been in the title game last year.

Even with the losses OSU is still a perennial national top 10 team, who are you bringing in as coach to change that to perennial top 5??

Looking forward to the Kentucky vs. Louisville game on Saturday. The bye on week 2 is killing me.

There are a lot of good coaches out there that wouldn't be scared to change up the play book from "good ol' traditional foosball" to something that may create a problem for opposing teams. OSU does this: they play good defense and run the ball. That's it. Normally that's a recipie for a championship. It is in the Big 11, but when you play good defense and run the ball at 1/2 the speed of other conferences, things become problematic.

I look at how Tressel has handled Pryor. Maybe the kid is too stupid to play in a traditional offensive, but when you have that type of talent, you should be able to design a few plays that allow him to run the ball - draws, options, etc... Look what Texas did to USC in 2004 (IIRC) with Vince Young (and Vince Young is a moron). Look what Oregon did with Dixon a couple years ago. Oregon State. Arizona even gave them troubles with Tuitama (who is fairly mobile).

I think Tressel has done a fantastic job of doing enough to keep his job. Unfortunately, that doesn't translate to anything outside of the Big 11. Sure he's kept it close with a few teams because his teams do have talent, but they aren't coached well and therefore, don't win big games.

I loathe OSU and the entire Big 11, so I'll be thrilled if Tressel stays another 10-15 years, winning another 10-15 Big 11 Championships and going 20-1 against Michigan. In the small world that is the Big 11 conference and mid-west football, that's great, but I prefer my NC games not to be poisoned by the choke artists from the Buckeye state.

And that right there sums it up.

2 losses to top teams in the dying minutes and it's still being "run out of the stadium", think that has much to do with your admitted hatred?
