Absolute massacre in North London today. Spurs get 5 goals from Jermaine Defoe and slaughter Wigan 9-1. Should've been 9-0, but Wigan got away with a blatant hand-ball on their only goal (almost as brutal as Henry's). Lennon was also spectacular with 1 goal and 3 assits. Easily the best winger in the PL. Spurs are a completely different team with him in the lineup.

Spurs should demand that the game be replayed.

Sweet Jesus Wigan, WTF happened? How do you let 9 past? Holy God, I imagine their manager died of shock.

I forgot to mention that the score was only 1-0 Spurs at the half. Yeah, 8 second half goals.

Wigan players are offering traveling fans a refund for having to endure a 9-1 ass stuffing...

Quote:
The club have announced that their players have decided to personally refund every Latics supporter who bought a ticket from the DW Stadium ticket office for the match at White Hart Lane.

The Lancashire club took a sizeable following to north London and skipper Mario Melchiot, speaking on behalf of all the players, said: "We feel that as a group of players we badly let down our supporters yesterday, and this is a gesture we HAVE TO make and pay them back for their tremendous loyalty.

I gotta say, thats a nice gesture from the players. Maybe the Flames should do the same thing to every Flames fan for that Chicago game.

Defoe is crap and should be nowhere near the England squad if they want to do well. That guy needs about 10 chances to score 1.

And what was an atrocious penalty.

He's the leading scorer in the PL and has been money most games this year. That was bad penalty for sure but he wouldn't be taking those on the national squad. He's pretty well they're best option at this point. Heskey is junk.

Brutal choke by Spurs today.

He misses alot of chances. Take away his 5 goals in the 9-1 thrashing of Wigan and he's nowhere near the top.

If Defoe's England's best option to partner Rooney, then England are going nowhere.

He also served a 3 game suspension. He was all over the field today and made some pretty good plays.

^^^^Arsenal deserved the win for at least trying in the second half. Liverpool did nothing.
