Good response, and seeing pictures of Kesler's man-woman of a "better half", i still find it shocking he would dare bring up another player's girlfriend/wife.

If you watch what Kesler actually said....he didnt insult the guys wife. He was saying hi to her as in she's HOT. LOL
That is a good response, and its nice that him and his wife are going to be able to spend game 4 together because I think a suspension might be coming his way

He cross checked Henrik Sedin in the side of the fact with 6 seconds left, after he had all ready taken a penalty.
Thanks, I'll have to check out the highlights. With or without Backes the Blues are done. Too young, too inexperienced and just happy to be in the playoffs after a late surge. That and the Canucks are playing well.
The fact that you can sit there and defend Iginla who goes after players with a face shield *after the play is dead* and use the argument "well certain fights he does take it off" is laughable. It's the same argument how for certain fights Kesler does take off his helmet.
I'm not calling Iginla gutless but you can't call Kesler gutless either. It was ONE fight and it was in the heat of the moment.
Your argument holds no water, as usual.
Iginla has never been in a fight where he waited for the other guy to take off his helmet and then jumped right in without taking off his own.
Players fight all the time without taking their helmets off in they wear visors.
"Hey, my wife is a strong woman. She can take it," Backes said. "She's pretty attractive -- I'm pretty proud of what I landed there. I'm over-achieving.""Hey, my wife is a strong woman. LOL this is EXACTLY why the Canucks signed Backes to an offer sheet. Too bad the Blues matched. =\
Why the hell come to Flames board if you are a Canucks fan and are an idiot to boot?
I apologize, I don't know why people care so much what the Flames fans think of the Canucks. Some of us actually like talking about hockey with outside perspective.

In no way was this directed at you or any other fan of the Canucks or any other team who comes here to contribute in a mature and positive fashion.
The person to which I was referring went way overboard in my mind but it doesn't really matter as he/she I guess can continue to do so and I got a penalty from the moderator. I will support my Flames and assume that others can come onto this board and come here only to trash us.

That isn't the point.
Yes but he been in MANY fights where he is the instigator vs a player without a shield. There are alot of people in the league that can't stand this type of play. However Iginla has shown that he doesn't do this ALL the time and will take off the helmet if neccessary. He has a good track record.
Using your logic M Cammalleri will ALWAYS be a dirty player for his cheap elbow on M Havlat. He had a spotless record so it will be forgiven and forgotten by alot of people.
Kesler has a good track record of being a guy that will take of his helmet and fight by the 'code'. I'm almost positive I could dig up cheap, dirty, gutless plays by any player in the league. Things happen in a game and the heat of the moment.
You simply seem to only remember the ones that aren't wearing Calgary Flames jerseys and you know it.
