I think it's great. Great for the so called lesser teams and really great for their loyal fans.

Once Barnsley fluked(!) their win over Liverpool I've been rooting for them to go all the way. I was thrilled to see them beat the Chavs. I hope they go on to win it now. Portsmouth have to be the favourites but, as has been shown, anything can happen now.

oh i agree, it's awesome, and makes the cup really exciting. any of those teams could end up winning it. phenominal stuff really.

Alright....so......with these 4 teams left in the cup, could we be looking at having Barnsley in the chamions league or am I misunderstanding the system here. Doesn't the winnder of the FA cup qualify for the chamions league? This also means that only the top 3 spots are quilifiers. Does the 4th spot now go into Uefa? I'm confused but yeah this is great for the game.

Nevermind, I found this on the BBC website:

EUROPEAN PLACES:
The top four Premier League teams qualify for the Champions League.
There are three Uefa Cup places available - one of which has been taken by Tottenham for winning the Carling Cup.
The team finishing fifth will qualify for the Uefa Cup - unless an English team wins the Champions League but finishes outside the top five.
The third Uefa Cup place depends on which team wins the FA Cup - with the Cup winners qualifying for the Uefa Cup unless they have already booked a European place.
So, the team finishing sixth in the Premier League may qualify for the Uefa Cup - depending on the above criteria.
