It will be Hunt sliding onto the 4L with Klapka elevated. You all know thats how it will go. Be honest with yourselves.

Brett Hull was completely ineffective in that Stanley Cup Final, which the Flames lost in 5 games. He only played because the team had massive injuries. After that he had a full season in the AHL. Is that the hill you want to die on?

Dryden Hunt, who this season has played 4 games for Huska and 48 for the Wranglers? That Hunt?

Some man crush.

For better or worse, he trusts him. I'd prefer we saw a guy like Kerins over him. And while I think Parekh would do fine and could be inserted into the lineup tomorrow, I am less sure of Suniev and can understand them not playing him until the season is effectively done.

But if I had a choice, I'd go Suniev. These kids play pressure free I find. And the group could use the energy.

He's stuck in Backlund's closet because he's undecided about which suit to wear.

Definitely the most exciting call up since the Flames called up Gaudreau (RIP). I got to see Gaudreau play live in Vancouver that game, and that was definitely one of my best hockey memories.

Hopefully we see Parekh get some time on the PP point.

I don't think Huska dresses him in the line up until the Flames are mathematically out of the playoff hunt.

All I know is that if he doesn’t look like Makar did on his Avs call up in the playoffs I will be calling him a bust

Our next games are against the Ducks, Wild, Sharks, Knights, Kings. We are four points back of the Wild with a game in hand, plus we play them once. Unless we lose against both the Ducks and Wild, he's not playing.

The more we win, the less likely he is to get in.

And I don’t think anyone would be upset about that. Being around the team is still going to be very valuable

Our most exciting prospect in years and we can't stop fighting.

I can't wait to see him in action!

Trying to temper my excitement for this player but it’s tough. His highlights are awesome and the numbers he put up in the OHL have not been seen in decades.

I don’t think he will quite be at the level of Makar, Quinn Hughes or Lane Hutson simply because of the elite speed those players have but, you never know, he could make big improvements in that area with the flames skating coach and be at that kind of level one day. Not saying Parekh is a poor skater. He’s fantastic on his edges. Just doesn’t blow by guys like those players do. Those guys also seem to have a high end motor that makes them attack with their speed. I haven’t watched Parekh enough to know if he is that type of player. To me, he seems more like Adam Fox or Miro Heiskenen - cerebral and extremely skilled while being good on their edges.
