This game just shows that you can only do so much with half of your defensive corps being marginal NHLers. Hanley is ok on some nights but Bean and Miromanov are absolutely AHL level.

They were always against an uphill battle. They have to beat teams and officials. You can bet your life savings that Gary Bettman wants the US teams in the playoffs and if you don't think the war room is not in tune with that I have some tropical beachfront property on the North Pole to sell you. We have seen Bettman's agenda for years now, it's all about the US markets and we have seen officiating play more and more into who wins and loses. Unfortunately it is not just in the NHL, sports are starting to become game managed to the point where you wonder why bother following anymore.
