Another broken Flames stick. Must be some kind of record.

Different class of hockey. An AHL team has no business playing with the team like the Avs, Caps or the Leafs.

Pretty shameful performance in the last few games.

Time to forget about playoffs and plan for the future

Necas didn’t have a Flame within a 1st down of him - don’t be reading more into this than there is.

Bahl is more important due to position/depth IMO

Both back helps big time though

Little concerning the flames have 2 even strength goals in their last 3 games (barring one tonight which isn’t looking likely).

When did that happen?

They beat the Ducks at home, then lost a game where they were the better team but couldn't finish against the Red Wings, then beat the Kraken on the road in a back to back.

Now lost two tough games against Leafs and Avs that were 8 and 9 games in a 13 and 15 day stretch respectively.

Sometimes I think ownership is right to think this fan base wouldn't be able to handle an actually rebuild. Especially with how some fans have reacted to the teams bad stretches this year.

lol a rocket of a shot on a breakaway and somehow the league has figured out Wolf

The #### people will come up with when the team has a couple of bad games in a row.

Too many guys who are at or below replacement level, especially on D right now with Bahl injured. Add to that a broke-ass Backlund who is clearly not able to play up to his usual ability and Andersson's huge regression, not to mention integrating some new players on the fly, and this team just doesn't have it right now.

Maybe Zary and Bahl come back and that pushes some dead weight off the bottom of the roster and they look better after the break...

We just beat the best team in the league two weeks ago.

Avs are a wildcard team.

Some games just be like this.

Murky middle.
Wolf’s the one been getting shelled the last few games.

Unless you want them to go back to playing Vladar every other start, this is just what you have to deal with.

Wolf gives them the best chance to win, and Huska should be fired if he’s not starting the guys that give him that.

Does Raz still do a stare down in an obvious loss?

Yeah both of those guys would be a huge boost.

I also think the teams schedule has been a little crazy. Like I am calling them lazy, but truthfully it’s been like 4 games in 6 days and travelling around and new teammates and a ton of #### going on. So they just seem a bit tired to me.

Yep, bagged as a group, and a few are near comatose.

my main complaint is that this team is no longer even really entertaining.

0 rush chances as there is always a delay on breakout (part of "structure"? to break out together)
chip it in an no one actually attacks? simply let them come back at you? hoping for mistake or turnover.
defensive zone is simply to hold them on parameter not aggressive to pressure or regain possesion?

im sorry but as season has gone on this is getting more difficult to watch.
i realize that this style may be best chance to win (low event low event) but is just a snoozefest most games now
