Finns now leading 3-2 in the 2nd. One of my pet peeves in hockey on that last goal, Leonard pushes the puck back into his own zone to negate a Finnish offside and instead of trying to break up the play he spends a second or so waving his hand around to tell the refs it was offside.....which it clearly wasn't. Meanwhile the Finns put the puck in the net. You're the captain of the team dude.....you play hard until the whistle.

This Finnish goalie has made a few unbelievable saves. Great game.

If the Finns could beat the US that would help out a lot.

I know it's the Country of Russia's own doing but this tournaments just not the same with the other hockey superpower not playing. They're just kids too.

Still don't think we should be barring their kids because of terrible stuff their government does (I know, I know, those kids should rise up because otherwise, they're to blame too). Our neighbor's government officials autograph bombs that end up being fired on hospitals and refugee zones and we don't barr their kids from competing because they write the rules.

Totally should, Russia as a country does not deserve anything to cheer for.

People don’t want to mix politics and sports and that’s exactly what is happening.
Do we see the US getting banned from the world stage if Tramp starts going after Panama or Greenland.

I'm torn between cheering for Team Canada and someone else.
I like a few of the players, but I don't want to see Hockey Canada rewarded for leaving so much talent at home over politics.

I think if I were to cheer for anyone, it'll be the Finn's. Though the Czechians are making some real noise too.
Just don't like how Canada's built.

Feels like one of those games where Finland has dozens of chances that just miss and the US has one chance and scores.
