I've written them off two years in a row, but no Rodri this time makes me feel more confident they are finished.

And I think we need to acknowledge, from Brighton...'Van Hecke' is a fantastic name.

Now...just sign Max Power.

They've got Igor and Van Hecke as their CB pairing. How cool is that?

Spurs rested players and basically threw a Europa League game at Galatasaray to come out and give Ipswich their first win. Well done.

happy for Ipswich and Kieran McKenna. Lost quite a few points by conceding late over the past few games against Brentford and Leicester, so glad to see them get a win over the line.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur has been handed a seven-game ban and a £100,000 fine by the English Football Association (FA) for using abusive language and bringing the game into disrepute during a Spanish-language interview on Uruguayan television in June.

The ban applies only to English club football and not European competition, meaning he can still compete against Roma and Rangers in the Europa League. He will miss Premier League clashes with Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool, as well as a Carabao Cup quarterfinal against Manchester United.

The charge by the FA stemmed from a clip posted on social media after Bentancur was interviewed on Uruguayan Television programme "Por La Camiseta." Host Rafa Cotelo asked Bentancur for a Spurs player's shirt, to which he replied, "Sonny's?" [Son Heung-Min], adding: "It could be Sonny's cousin too as they all look the same."

Harry Kane statue unveiled in London!

Quote:
After five years in storage and despite claims it does not quite capture its subject, a shiny metal statue of Harry Kane seated has been unveiled – much to the delight of the man himself.

After seeing images of it earlier this year, many people came up with their own suggestions. Not all of them were Arsenal fans.

As to its likeness, social media has been inundated with mocking comments. It’s “the stuff of nightmares”, said one. “Looks nothing like him,” said another. “It is more Desperate Dan than Roy of the Rovers,” said the art historian Richard Morris on X.

Guardiola has agreed a new one year deal at Citeh, with an option for another one.

man wants to prove himself at the lower league level. I can respect that.

Even though Rodri won the Ballon D'Or, I'd love to see the results of a re-vote now that we see what City are without him, might be a unanimous win. Gonna be a struggle for top four, they stink.

Well Pep just played that ridiculously naive high line the whole game. Doesn’t he have some kind of plan B? You have to adapt in the Premier League, not some second rate home league where you play farmers every week.

I'm not going to lie. Watching Timo Werner absolutely leave Kyle Walker in his dust at the end there was enjoyable.
