I do hope people stay away from getting personal and insulting towards the players.

The high draft picks that many want are preceded by lots of losses. I’ve already read some unfortunate comments and I hope people will reconsider this type of attitude towards the players.

most really good players were on terrible teams when they were younger...I don't think it hurts them

I cant even blame Markstrom...my favourite whipping boy! He and Weegar were the only ones who showed up!

Was the rest of the Team waiting at Rogers' Arena checking their watches?

"Hey boys...when does the game start?"

oddly enough the goaltending does seem to be back but if you can't score you can't win
Well making playoffs in this conference is looking like a very low bar.

You have to be aggressively bad to not have a shot at it. And we are that.

So it's OK for players to collect fancy-pants salaries and not GAF about the people paying them? Then it's equally OK for the people paying them to let them know EXACTLY what they think of the players.

Markstom was great this game...that 4th goal was ridiculous, its actually a joke they have to play meaningful games in these conditions

(before I am shamed I am not blaming the loss on that)

I am so over outdoor games

Huh? You want them to send you a card?

My point is that if you want to criticize Kadri for being soft on the forecheck during this game, or you wish he wouldn’t send blind behind-the-back passes, then by all means. That’s meaningful observation and criticism.

But getting on here because you want him to know EXACTLY what it is you think of him and what he supposedly owes you is not healthy. That’s just personal and creates a hostile environment that won’t improve anything.

Tkachuk has already said the Canadian fans were too much

Gaudreau's family has hinted at the same...we can call them soft or talk about how much money they make well...they can go make that money elsewhere and be left alone. What would you chose. I mean do you guys honestly think they don't want to play better?

talk about the game on the ice...

I mean people have called Backlund a coward multiple times tonight, like FFS...guy is a pillar of the community for things more important than a dumb game.

Huberdeau didn't steal your money...he scored 115 points in the NHL and Brad offered him a contract, I would have signed it too

Felt bad for him. Flukey bounce against the flow of play at the time.

Best I've seen him play the Oilers in quite some time.

I actually think that this losing streak showed just how important Andersson is to this team. I would be happy to see him back in the lineup next game. Markstrom remains strong, we just need to tighten things up defensively, and find a way to make the PP work.

I actually thought it was a decent game from both Kadri and Weegar. Hopefully, it's a sign of things to come. I also hope that Tanev is okay, the amount of big hits the guy has taken this season is starting to add up.

So exactly HOW do you propose we make those comments known to them?

We have NO contact with them and NO ability - for the most part - to make those forms of communications. Booing (for instance) is the only method we have, unless we're in the single tier of media who gets to talk with them.

I'm not saying one should find them in public and tell them they're a fricking useless pile of horse puckey. But apparently telling them that they're playing poorly makes them feel...upset...and so one can't do that either without being harassed by the woke folk.

Andersson also just allows the D to stack way, way better.

It's more than just adding a good d-man who can help on both sides of the puck. The way all the pairings are structured and deploys just makes more sense.

The team is lucky to have markstrom right now. Could you imagine if Vladar had started all of our games?

We'd have 2 less points? Is there really that much of a difference between 3 and 5 points after 9 games?
