I was told in the PGT it was because Marky has been excellent this year. Until tonight. And now he's not excellent.

It looks like we need to practice some 2 on 1's. So frustrating not being able to convert on odd man rushes.

They were desperate for offense the last two seasons (even in 21-22 they were struggling outside the top line before the Toffoli trade) and they refused to give him a look.

Even if he still would have walked this past offseason it's a mistake to not give him a real top 9 look in 21-22 or 22-23.

The team needed offense which he could provide in the right situation.

They need to use a flubbed shot goal and an "assist" that had nothing to do with the goal as their evidence while they can.

The Flames can't even get the puck past the center line

Lol

Caps should try and tip one or two past Kuemper for us

He's had a good start to the year. Maybe just enjoy it and cheer him on?

This is a hilarious level of denialism.

Markstrom can only stop difficult shots, Caps should just dribble shots from the point at him.

Still excellent, just can't stop weak shots lol. He is literally turning into Mike Smith. Even the temper tantrums.

It will be interesting. You never know he could bulk up and he's with a good team and some decent players. I still think the Flames should have given him a chance.

Rich coming from the #1 prospect cheerleader

Phillips might be a player but he won't have many nights where the offense comes this easy.
