I also should ask if the fireworks displays in Calgary on Canada Day are any good. The local minor-league baseball team here puts on a better display every Saturday night than what the city does for Canada Day every year.

We'll be shooting off fireworks on Canada Day. It's always a fun way to cap off a good day. I didn't realize it's racist, but I don't think that'll stop us. Now, if someone said fireworks are for pedos, I might change my tune.

Pretty tight timeline to arrange a fireworks show, hopefully there's no shortage still like there was last year. And are they going to be able to find a fireworks company that isn't booked? I feel this could get even more embarrassing.
