As someone wit no financial interest in this arena, I'm happy for the city to get a big development like this. Seems like a potentially great improvement to the city infrastructure.

I hope someone gets on the phone with the folks at MGM Resorts ASAP to see if they want to be involved in this. I remember they wanted to participate about 10 years ago which would have been awesome. I would love to be able to rack up MGM Rewards tier points locally.

It probably buys some, and loses some. That said, I don't get the sense there are many undecided voters remaining.
The fact that the new arena deal is dependent on an election result creates a lot of uncertainty.
