So the new sprint format is worse than the old sprint format
The broadcast scheduling on the sprint weekends is going to be problematic in North America, but F1 is big enough in Europe that it will work regardless of the format. I love F1, but the main race qualifying on Friday morning, and Sprint qualifying at 2am on Saturday is not something I will probably be tuning into. I will record of course with the intention of watching after the fact, but it will likely just not happen.
I can't imagine Perez is that much of a threat to Max for the Championship, but it might be a bit interesting. Max hates to lose, maybe more than anyone ever. But still would be better if he cried less about it.

Had some downtime in Montreal today, so decided to walk around Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.
The new paddock building is amazing. Several of the grandstands look to be upgraded/new.
Track will need to be resurfaced in a couple seasons. I was shocked at how poor the condition of the surface was. There is a new patch of tarmac at the pit exit and the difference is quite stark and much more similar to the surface in Austin. The balance of the track is basically the normal asphalt like one would see on a typical highway.
I got caught in a brutal rainstorm and was very, very surprised how quickly the water pooled on track. If they were racing today, it would have been red flagged for sure due to standing water.

Baku Results are in! I lost my hard drive this week, so had to re-enter Australia. I double checked everything is right from my Aus Results post...but let me know just in case.
Top spot this week is a tie with FleuryIsGod and KelVarnsen, both with 26pts. FleuryisGod had a very impressive 10/10 Top 10 picks and both got 4 correctly slotted (KelV got fastest lap point)
We have a tie at the top of the Overall this week between bizaro86 (good call changing pics) and KelVarnsen. DoubleK is only 2pts back.
Woob...this is your first week of missed picks.
