Makes me think of 2021 when the Habs had a crap ton of OTLs and made it to the finals...

Good defensive plays that somehow bounce right to the wrong guy have happened a lot this season IMO

Agreed.
Though the team has hurt itself a lot as well. At some point that needs to lessen.
It will come IMO....a lot of good signs as well.

Flames want OT again so they can bank their loser point.

Yeah but 2021 effectively doesnt count. That was a screwed up Bubble season.

The soccer style standings wouldn't make a huge difference (3-2-1-0):
Central
Dallas 79
Winnipeg 75
Minnesota 65
Pacific
Las Vegas 75
Seattle 75
Los Angeles 74
Wild Card
Edmonton 67
Calgary 63
St. Louis 59
Nashville 58
Colorado 55
Vancouver 48
San Jose 44
Arizona 42
Anaheim 32
Chicago 31

The record is 18 loser points in a normal 82 game season done 4 times (PHI 14-15, NJD 13-14, FLA 11-12, TB 08-09). Flames have 9 through 42 games so far. Basically on pace to tie.

Why does this seem like a game where either Pitlick or Lievo will be the difference maker? Also I had no idea Lindholm only has 2 goals in 20 games against STL.

Lewis puts it wide. Pelletier would have scored that.

Just read that Walker Duher is the first South Dakota alum to score in the NHL.
If true, pretty cool claim.

I'm pretty sure that he's also the first to play a game in the NHL...
Dube! Woohoo, now win this one in regulation.
