These past two periods have been unwatchable. The local beer league team look better than this Flames team tonight. They are playing the worst D and the worst goalie in the NHL and have nothing. Just not acceptable at all.

Agreed. I’m amazed he got over 100 points last year from what I’ve seen so far. I know people will defend him and say his line mates aren’t capitalizing on their chances, but at 10 million he needs to be a game breaker. He doesn’t have that ability, or is he the person you can rely on to take over games. Disappointing to say the least.

Huberdeau's style just does not fit Sutter's system. I think he still has it in him but he's playing ultra conservative to fit in to the defensive first mindset. He came from a firewagon team with Duclair and Bennett doing a lot of their usual risky rushes.

Either show up to play or just tank already. Team has to play over their skill level to win on most nights. No first line, maybe one second line, two thirds and nothing worthy of being called a fourth line. I keep watching because every few games they throw us a bone.

You do not need to be a game breaker to get a 100 points. He set up toffoli with the exact same empty net last or the game before then. He gives passes to these easy empty net goals almost every game, you can accumulate 100 points like that. It’s the Flames coaching staff fault for not utilizing those moments properly

Yep, playmaker sets up a guy with an empty net look and the shooter takes 1/2 an hour to shoot and then misses the net
Don't blame the playmaker
