Yeah, that was weird. According to Rutherford Boudreau was given a two year deal by the last regime. That sure is not what was being reported all off season when pundits were speculating about what was taking so long to extend him.
What is going on there?

Wow, those sounds like bizarre responses from both of them.
For sure. The next time the Flames lose 6 straight, you know people are going to freak out on here, but I wouldn't expect that out of the coach and management.

This is about the worst start imaginable. It's looking like keeping Miller was a major mistake. He's a selfish player. They should have traded him over the summer with a year left on his current deal as it's going to be harder to move him now and it's certainly looking like he's a cancer in that locker room.
I’d be awfully embarrassed if we had a Jersey on the ice because of a 6 game L streak. That #### happens all the time. I know it’s Vancouver and the schadenfreude is delicious, but the trashiness of that fan base never ceases to amaze.

Being winless to start plays a part psychologically.
Honestly I think part of their issue is they have a locker room full of guys who all want to be “the guy” and the group of them think they are better than the rest:
Miller
Boeser
Pettersson
Horvat
Hughes
They all appear to be in it for themselves, no team cohesion and nobody willing to die on the ice for one another. There was a report that the Locker room was very divided, sad to see a team implode this bad and sadly Bruce will get the axe when he’s really not the problem.
