One thing I like about Markstrom, he always seems to stay dialed in even when he doesn’t face many shots.

If the Flames can keep playing mistake free defense Dallas may not score at all in this series. They look like a team that misses an entire first line worth of offensive talent.

Have to give the Flames credit there. Robertson (41), Hintz (37) and Pavelski (27) combined for a very respectful 105 goals.

Lol enjoy playoff win or moan about fans enjoying the game?

What a classic CP moment.

I love the wave.

I always find the “he went down easy” comments hilarious. Anyone ever skated before?

From reading that other thread I thought you were a bunch of conformist nazis but now I see that anything goes, as long as I’m having fun, so I appreciate the encouragement to do whatever I want at games.
I don't think anyone is talking about allowing anarchy at the games. Have fun but don't ruin anyone else's night. What you allow to bother you is up to you.

What's going on today? The Flames just won and we are gatekeeping how people should celebrate their team at game?

PATHETIC. I think the wave is not going anywhere and you can stop happy people from celebrating. What kind of event do you think you guys are attending? Not every single person in attendance will conform to your standards. Not sure what you expected.

Go Flames Go!!

I'm not sure I understand Klingbergs criticism.

He's acting tougher than he is.

Then gets beat down by Andersson.

So what is he saying? That he himself is a massive wimp?

I'm not sure I get his line of reasoning?

TSN with the "Flames eke out a victory" article. And so it begins...

Wow, if you read that without knowing the score you would’ve thought Dallas was the better team. Really bad article.

Don’t get me wrong I don’t mind Greg or Hrudey for that matter but CBC / Rogers was amateur hour tonight. I was out in Vancouver tonight watching the game at my in-laws and had to watch it on my laptop because CBC took the triple overtime Pens vs Rangers game to the end. I assume CBC Calgary picked up the SNW feed but kind of ####ty if you were in another province and wanted to watch the Canadian team with the statistical best chance of going to the finals in action tonight. National broadcaster and they picked two American teams? Wtf?

Post game was severely lacking too. 30 seconds of panel and off to the SN highlight reel crew.
Was out in BC same issue had to watch it online, I don't watch sportsnet intermissions cause it's annoying. I always go to YouTube and watch Flames TV, and remember Flames TV does a post game show as well.

Let them think the Flames suck.

Meanwhile the Oilers are losing despite their awesome play.

Such a laughable take on that game. Seriously, did they even watch it? Dallas only had 16 shots on net FFS. Flames had way more grade A scoring chances and hemmed Dallas in their zone for long stretches with their relentless forecheck, especially in the 1st and 3rd periods. Only reason Dallas was even in that game was due to Oettinger's heroics.

Also no mention whatsoever of the Flames' perfect 5/5 PK and smothering defence.

Lol.. mentions the Flames being limited by Dallas to 26 shots and no cgy chances off the rush.

Nothing about the Stars 16 shots total including 0 in the final 11 minutes while chasing the game.

The way I see it, they can't stop them all. Eventually a whole bunch of those are going to break through.

I think some are taking this too personally.

This isn't an angry man yelling at kids to get off their lawn.

There are "things" in sports. You don't call a shut out before it's over. Some people don't walk on cracks on the side walk, avoid black cats, and don't walk under ladders.

There's something cheeky about doing a wave when the game isn't secured.

Is that a "rule"? No.

But it's hardly a CP angry old man, "make sure no one has fun at a hockey game", thing.

I've heard it discussed in baseball, Pinder brings it up on the radio.

Not a CP thing.

Whoever starts the wave at the Dome should get a life time ban.

My thoughts from the game last night.

- was glad to see Coleman come back
- Dallas figured out the chip and chase strategy aftef the first period. Need a plan B for zone entry.
- can’t take that many penalties go forward. Lucky the PK bailed them out
- if they can get the PP going it will be a short series. Dallas really had nothing.
- crowd was awesome.
