Shots are 44-18. Flames more than deserving of this big lead.

If you can’t notice the improvement in his game this season....you need help.
I have commended him multiple times this season for his excellent 2 way game.

They actually might be. Which is crazy. Even the perfection line is not the same as it once was.

They score a decent number of goals because they take a *ton* of high-quality shots. But they should be scoring way, way more, based on the quality of shots they've taken.
Also, holy ####, that goal by Lindholm.

The league is to0 competitive for that to happen.
Think about it this way: if you have offensive pressure all the time, and are generating a ton of shots, then the defenders are all going to be in deep, defending.
The more offense you generate and shots you take, the harder it gets to score, because the D collapses. The stats remain linear, and suggest you're not scoring as much as you should, but that is because the stats aren't capable of factoring in how the game changes as the shots climb.
This is just one of the perils of relying on stats - they don't have any nuance.

Can someone dig up a ranking of most productive lines? Like to see where they stack up this season. Has top be top 2-3.

Elvis will even come out of this game with a decent save percentage despite giving up 4.

Yup. Like any stat it tells part of the story, but try to use it to tell the whole story and it falls on its face

And… there we have one of those goals off low-percentage shots! That doesn't work very often, but the shot is still worth taking.
And the goal is, er, Gud.
