I loved Mangi having the presence of mind to drop the puck back to Troy and also juke to the his offwing and finish off an absolutely sick individual deke by Stetcher.

Yeah that goal is likely going to be the goal of the tournament, such a beauty, and a huge goal on top of it.

Yeah, I’m really happy he is! I thought Canada was quite lucky to get to the quarterfinals. At that point they were not even controlling their own faith. I look forward to seeing what he can bring next year. I’m still definitely not in the $6Mx6 camp, that was suggested in the other thread.

Pettersen disappointingly started the tourney on Norway's top line and ended it on the third line.

Where was this guy all year for us? 4 points in 5 games and plus 6! He is the ultimate AAAA player

Glorified stats in a low talent tournament. Same can be said for most of the scoring leaders.

Not being a cynic, that’s just the way it is this year in the WHC.

I think too it speaks to Nesterov being more comfortable on international sized ice; wouldn’t be surprised to see him sign over seas.

Somehow, someway, a number of Flames fans will still try to find a way to discredit Mangiapane and claim he's not top 6 caliber.

Unfortunately, they'd continue to be dead wrong, because Mangiapane has always been a stud.

LOL, Mangi was probably the best Flames all year round in this past pandemic season. It's really too bad the Flames were such a piss-poor team this past year. I'm just happy that Canada finally won gold in this tournament and stoked that Mangi got the MVP!
