A lab technician is not a nurse, actually they are very far from being a nurse. I speak with experience as I have two lab techs in my family with over 30 years of experience.

This one does too, to a much less extent, I just assume she uses/used both.
I think it's important to note/remember a few things when going down the rabbit hole of looking at personal facebook pages.
One, she's a parent, so I would think/hope all parents would support their children and lean towards defending them even when it's clear they might be in the wrong. It might not be the logical thing to do, but it's your kid, and I think it's an entirely natural thing to do.
Two, there's no anti-mask or COVID-denier type content on either page. So I don't think it's fair to label her that way. Would it be a reach to say Ocean's views don't fall far from the tree? No, but he's 21, an adult capable of thinking and acting for himself, I had wildly different views from my parents at 21 and it would have been unfair to suggest my views were my parents', or vice versa.
Three, there's some anti-police sentiment there, in both the image and a lot of the comments. She also shared the stuff from Rebel News. So, it's likely that the statement is a PR move, but it also might be likely that given the statement is shared by the three other brothers and not Ocean or Kim, that it may be true, and Ocean and Kim are on their own ideological island.
So I dunno, just worth noting I guess that the statement and Kim's facebook may not indicate a lie or some hypocrisy, her name wasn't mentioned in it at all, and just because she's against the police and ok with support from Rebel News, doesn't automatically make her an anti-masker.

I have a co-worker who's parents got COVID and survived. The father is relearning to walk, and the mother has lost all feeling in one hand. My father-in-law, the doctors suspect he had it in February, and was dealing with heart issues for most of the year.
Death is far from the only outcome of this virus and the resulting disease.

Yeah, I guess I didn't look too hard. Felt a little dirty lurking on peoples facebook pages. Curiosity gets the better of me sometimes.

If Ocean had any sense he'd be plugging his head into the sand and hoping people forget all about him.

Eh, the info came second hand from someone with access to the posts that are private, so I dunno. *shrug* Also, the statement shared isn't from her, or any of his brothers, it's apparently from relatives in Ontario - cousin and uncle or some such. The cousin posted this publicly, both on FB & twitter, so I assume it's fine to unmask the names. She either posted the relationship somewhere in one of her tweets, or responded to a different tweet, saying what the relationship was, that she was his cousin, so I assume the other people tagged in the FB post are her parents.

That makes more sense, the statement is from extended family who do not support what Ocean did or what he believes.
