Sorry but it's part of the reason why this is a story for some of us.

My wager should be worth 2x to yours at this point.

My $20 to your $10? Whomever wins, takes their winnings to the cause.

So at this point if the owners do back track, what would the press release say?

We should take bets.

Someone should donate a cent under Murray Edwards as a mockery.

How about "We made a bad decision and didn't uphold the core values of this organization. Thanks to our great fans for stepping up and showing what the Flames spirit is all about. We will pay our part time employees and all proceeds from the GoFundMe can be donated to the Flames charity or another charity of the organizers choosing. We sincerely apologize forgetting this so wrong."

So how much would it cost to just pay these workers for the time they will miss? It can’t be worth the bad public they are getting. Even Keith Olbermann was tweeting about it.

I'm embarrassed for the club and the owners but I'm not going to turn my fan card in. That seems a little much. I hope somebody from the organisation steps up and addresses this Monday morning.

With or without the tips? Either way it's in the millions

They don't need to wait for Monday to issue a release and fix this. The damage gets deeper by the minute. Turning in your fan card is one thing. Turning your back on your most vulnerable employees...

I’m sorry, but Murray Edwards can go - - - - himself. Guy is proving himself to be nothing more than a modern day Ebenezer Scrooge. But even Scrooge had an epiphany and redeemed himself. I’m starting to doubt Edwards will, ever.

My interest in the Flames has been diminishing rapidly the last few years but I think situation this ends the little interest I had left in the club.

Meanwhile at Cavalry, one of our supporters is going through some tough times mentally with this situation and the Coach/GM and numerous players reached out to him to lend support. Proper organization.

Need to include the hitmen/roughnecks and any other events like concerts ect.plus the dome is open all day as well, security ect... it's more than counting events and assuming everyone makes minimum wage.

it's in the millions
