Biggest change in Gaudreau is commitment on the forecheck. No desperation and hunger for the puck if he doesn’t have it. He’s only useful on the rush and that’s just not good enough on a lot of nights.

As awful of a game this is to watch with sloppy play from both teams, this is still somehow one of the better games the Flames have played under Ward relative to their opposition
