Then we've got them right where we want them. 3-0 is the most dangerous lead in hockey!

Well, if the Flames won’t stop any of it, why wouldn’t they? And to be fair, the Flames are also sending passes right up the middle (to the Blues), soft chips (to the Blues) and playing the puck back (to the Blues). Basically this game is a 10 on 0 vs Rittich.

Peters needs to focus on getting these guys to having fun. Why not? Who cares. Just figure out the best way for these guys to have fun and wins will return.

The bench has never been more stressed or anxious or depressed in my time as a Flames fan. No good is happening with these vibes. Just, stop caring so much. Stop expecting so much.

This is really tough to watch. Not only is the team on the ropes, every 50-50 bounce is seemingly going against them to compound things.

Can we fire Peters before the start of the third?

The flames went an entire season with an unsustainable PDO not 5 years ago.

I know regression to the mean is a big talking point this year, but sometimes these 'unsustainable' trends can last 60 or more games.

Agree totally. But Gio is the reigning Norris winner. Andersson is not a good partner for him, he needs a partner with more speed who can get back and cover for him. I usually like Andersson, but he doesn’t look like that player.

Peters should order the trainers to go get 2x 30 packs of beer and get them ready for intermission. Honestly who gives a F at this point?

I'd almost rather watch the Oilers/Kings game than watch this 3rd period...

Both of those teams are no good. And both will score more goals than the Flames tonight.

kpmg gives 200 to charity each time Backlund scores.

Insert joke here.

I feel sorry for that charity with donations based on points scored by Mikael Backlund

This unsustainable talk reminds me of the last season of Gulutzan.

The stats don't lie. Sometimes a team just sucks, and will continue to do so.

This is who the Flames are, until they prove otherwise. Not expecting things to turn around.
