What Peteres should do is dress the top line but seriously limit their ice time it's the only way we have a chance.

Neal doesn't play unless Peters puts him in the lineup. Sorry coach, that's on you.

I say Johnny and Mony for Taylor Hall and the first overall. Maybe the Devils will bite on the local boy.
Outside of that Valimaki showed tonight why BT wasn’t willing to part with him. The this was the year talk is silly, the window for this team, whatever that will be, is just opening. I’d be worried if I thought BT wasn’t aware the team needs some more character and grit, but based on the moves he’s been in on the past year indicated he feels the team still needs tweaking and building.

Smith laid it on the line and came up with a performance. They were up in the third so that’s a positive - just have to find a way to bring it home.

The coaches need to make adjustments for next game.

Choked at Neal. All year we’ve been saying he’ll come around in the playoffs. That backcheck was is if he won the last two finals instead of lost them.

The only thing that would make this ####ty playoffs worse is us resigning smitty to an extension this offseason...

And that’s what’s going to happen. We laugh at the factory of sadness to the north but we are just as bad

I guess there is something to be said for playoff experience. Avs have way more playoff experience than this years Flames and it shows!

It just sucks that this is the way the flames have to gain it. But if this is what it takes to build that grit ... I'll take it!

I want the Flames to win. Badly. But, if they play hard and lose...well, #### happens.

But the way they are losing is infuriating. Completely dominated in three straight games and save for Mike Smith masterclasses would’ve lost all three in regulation by multiple goals. To the eight seed and worst team in the playoffs.

Guys swooping by the pick instead of stop-and-starting, punting with time, one-handed lunges at opposition players, reverses on the boards on teammates backhands, handing the puck away if it means avoiding contact, being second on 50-50 pucks to avoid contact.

No positional discipline constantly getting caught with three players below the dots or defencemen pinching without support resulting in odd-man rushes. Dump-ins and rims to areas with low probability of retrieval.

Just gutless shinny hockey being played. It looks like the freaking pre-season. What a joke.

The toughest job of Bill Peters’ career is getting these guys positive, motivated, confident, and ready to show up to war on Friday. As bleak as it looks now, the Flames can rattle off three in a row against this team. Let’s go!

Man.. So frustrating watching Monahan waste his offensive opportunities by coasting towards the net a floating a softie right into the chest everytime. What a disappointment these Top guys have been.. Gross

Can I ask you an honest question? How are we supposed to come to a different conclusion based on what we just saw these past 2 games?

I really hope the Flames can turn it around for his sake. He's giving his best performances of the season and we are honestly letting him now right now.

Win game 5. Worry about the rest later.

Every player on the team owes Mike Smith an apology I couldn't even imagine how badly we'd have been blown out the past 3 games without him.
