Another excellent period by the Flames. Isles have no business being in this. Score completely flatters them.

Been good today. Had a bunch of chances. He wasn't shooting the past little while but back shooting today and the chances are coming.

The one I remember most clearly was Game #80 in 2004 when the Flames clinched a playoff berth. It was against Arizona at home and they took a 2-0 lead, outshooting them 14-0 in the first period.
There was another one a long time before that, but I don’t remember it so clearly. Against Buffalo maybe?

Hammer is such a warrior. He was caught out for so long, and the other 4 changed. He was just huffing and staying around the net to survive.
Think he broke up 2 or 3 chances despite that after what seemed like almost 2 minutes.

That's just what he does whenever he's 'off'.
Stops, pivots and looks for fancy east west passes, rather than leading his rushes with confidence and getting a chance on net.

I'm at the game. Johnny has gotten chances and has made some good passes. He's just snakebitten right now. I think he'll break out of this slump and start scoring soon.

CGY playing fantastic. Stick with it. Keep moving it quickly and smartly in defensive zone. Stay relentless offensively

And this is why I think Neal has not been a good fit and not had success with the Flames...lack of speed.

Seems to some miscommunication here. The question was ‘least shots in a GAME’.
Textcritic is talking about least shots in a period.

There was a playoff game involving the Leafs where they had very few shots. Against NJ or Boston I'm thinking?

Johnny is Kuznetsov, Mony is Backstrom and Gio is our Ovi.
