So if you can hit a guy from behind I guess we should just run McDavid all the time when his back is to us.

I hope the Flames continue to ragdoll McLoser. The win would be nice but this dumpster fire team is irrelevant so as long as McDavid gets the snot rocked out of him I’ll be happy. The non-stop McLovefest is getting really old.

It probably was...but not conclusive. If nothing else he did a good job of hiding it. Wouldn't want that to count against the Flames
Bad break

You'd think they could put a sensor in the puck that would trigger the goal light.

That one view from behind you can 100% see it in the mesh glove pocket on the back side of the post

North American sports are cheap. Look at football they still spot the ball using the eyes of a 60 year old linesman.
Look at a dinosaur sport like soccer. When the ball crosses the line the refs watch buzzes.

Have no issue with what Hrudey and Nick stated. You actually can hit someone from behind in open ice if they have the puck. Where the penalty would come only if you hit them into the boards in that fashion.

Imagine being so incredibly close to the salary cap and having this bad of a team. I love Chia.

Agree with that conclusion.
But I wish the ref was more active in his observation because that should have been the ruling on the ice.

For the Ref to call it a goal on the ice he needs to conclusively see it in. I don’t think the Ref could argue that.
