And then I suspect they also articulate how much they listen to the station, and how sticky it is. So then the advertiser benefits from repetition.
If you listen to who advertises on the Fan, it tells you a lot about ultimately who they care about in terms of who's listening.

I suppose they must be doing okay in that regard as they don't seem to air as many ads advertising themselves as a place to advertise as they did a few years back when every commercial break had a testimonial about advertising on Fan 960. #ALotOfAdvertisingsInThisPost

Makes me never want to even consider buying one of those dumb pillows just because of how horrible that shtick is.

I bought a pillow, it wasn't that great... You gotta pay to send it back too

Overall I like the show a lot. Morning more than afternoon but I listen most days during the week. Rome is brutal, that’s when I turn it off for 2 hours. I think broadcasting is a much more challenging job than most people give it credit for so maybe I have a longer leash. Could be a lot worse.

After pinder and Steinberg, Klein is the best radio host guy they have. Really glad for him

Yeah he's the best fit for that show from the active temp pool available, as he is able to laugh at himself the most (a little TOO much, frankly). Congrats to him.

Phew... I prefer Klein over Nault for sure, but was hoping for someone like Pinder who can throw facts and data to go against Rhett and Boomer's opinion. I thought the three worked well together.

Ya good for Peter. He did a great job the last couple weeks while Boomer and Warrener overextended their holidays. Felt bad for him after the Burke interview but he always bounces back. Good choice.

I think Peter Klein is a spineless waffler who gets bullied as a comedic foil by his co-hosts. It was sort of funny when they did it to Pinder, who came across as a nerdy a-hole, but he at least had the balls to defend himself. With Klein it's just pathetic and sad.
As a broadcaster, I have to wonder about his qualifications. Klein stammers, mumbles, and folds the moment anyone breaths in his direction. The Burke interview was a perfect example. He has no idea what he's doing, and when a professional got on the air with him it was like high school amature hour with a gulping choke.
The last couple weeks have been abysmal, with the only highlights being the call in guests. Like really really bad.
While I'm off on a rant - what's with all the Smith apologists on the Fan? Is there some Sportsnet mandate you can't talk ill of the local players? Edm does the same thing. There have been people on CP for months who were happy to give Smith a chance, but have been concerned for almost a calendar year. Between injury, age, and reduced equipment, the man is an unmitigated disaster. No, I don't feel bad about his feelings - he gets 5 million dollars to take fan abuse.
WTF is with all the "he needs to find his game". He's 36. It's over. It's been over for a while now. Where are the sports journalists in Calgary?
Pinder may be a sanctimonious ass, but at least he's willing to call it what it is. Which is why he's so desperately missed in the morning. At least Rhett and Boomer would call him out on being a dick - Steinberg is as much of a wimp as Klein is, so just gets railroaded.
They really lost a lot by breaking up the morning show dynamic. To hear they're going to replace the "brains" (such as it was) of that operation with Peter Klein... yikes.
