I just finished watching the game. As soon as Ryan scored I was sure the game was turning around.

We are 11th in the League, 2 points back of division leaders Sharks with 1 game in hand, and if Smith hadn't been such a liability this year its very likely we would be 4 or 6 points further ahead this year at this point.

This is why I stay away from the GT usually, and especially if we are doing badly, holy crap the drama queens.
It is usually the same reactionary characters too which is unfortunate because they never seem to change. Would they act so "bipolar" in front of mom and dad;? Of course not! All because they are sitting behind a keyboard.

What angered me was that the Flames kept bumbling the PP's that would have stopped that coiler gong show running everyone they wanted.

Gio played terrible in the first 40.
Neal invisible for all but 20 seconds on the night.
Rittich was outstanding all game, gave the Flames the hope they needed in the 3rd.

Ryan"s goal lifted the team that as bad and scared as they played the Geeasers only put up 2.
The Flames should be commended on digging and deep and not going quitely into the 3rd period instead they should balls and flat out dominated the entire 3rd period.
Probably the biggest win of the season so far.
Tkachuk was clearly targeted all game, didnt fer any points but he drew 4 pp for the team.
Lindholm was great but had an incredible 3rd especially.
It was great watching all the loud obnoxious combative greaser cockroaches scurry for exits
After seeing stats that Bingo posted about Ryan, ai have changed my mind about Ryan and think he plays up to his potential. The ceiling might not be high but he is what he is, a serviceable 4th line player.

Neal on the other hand has to step it up.

Personally I loved the moment where Bennett and hamonic were on the ice right after a big hit and the scrum ensured in front of the bench and gully started walking towards them and Benny and hamonic told him to go #### himslef and he did...

Game Takes:
Flames 4 Oilers 2

- Second line and Brodano shut down McDavid line
- Carolina connection for the comeback
- Rittich stops three breakaways to hold the game for the comeback.
- Bennett and Tkachuk drive the Oilers nuts

But holy **** our team has absolutely 0 skill. We literally need another top 5 pick to help up front because Puju and Yams haven’t developed and we have no ****ing skill.

God your right. I went to it & watched tv then looked back at the site & saw this post & thought it was a CP post then I realized it was an actual opinion of an Oilers fan.

Neal was only good for 20 seconds? Ummm, nope. In third he had two lengthy high quality shifts. And he had something like 5-6 shots on goal, three of which Koskinen had trouble stopping cleanly.

Neal played his best game of the season.

He was noticeable and dangerous tonight.

Bennett had a great point, playing with Tkachuk means lots of scrums and emotion. That’s the type of game Bennett thrives in. Bennett loves playing with Tkachuk. Man I hope they can bring out the best in each other.

From the ATL, oilers cant play 40 minutes and expect to win. Me, but the Flames can play 20 and win.

I would rather they play like every period is the third period though.
