And Kuemper lets the Russians tie it up.

Kuemper sucks. So does McBackup.
Pretty sure Peters wrote that down on his pad.

Crazy game. Too bad Canada's goaltending is so crappy.

If O'Reilly was dirtier he could be Kesler.

Nice goal by O'Reilly. Watch McDavid get the credit.

Why in God's name did Canada not look to bring another goalie into this tournament with a late addition. I can see Keumper but McBack
Surely someone would have agreed to come over?

O'Reilly wins it for Canada in OT. Yay! Peters is still a good coach!

Pretty weak penalty to give a 4 on 3 in overtime.

To be fair, it was a pretty sweet feed from #97.

How is this team so good with such terrible goaltending? Hell, even Jake Allen would be passable.

Did Mike Smith get an invite? I'm surprised he didn't go. I'm guessing he still had a nagging injury at the end of the season.

He's an elder statesman; generally if you're over 30 you leave it to the younger guys who might one day play in the olympics (if that ever happens again). In this case there's just no one on offer who really fits that mould. But rolling in with two career backups seems like a pretty terrible decision unless everyone else said no.

I think he was best to not put more stress on the body. But there were others who must have said no - Talbot, Dubnyk, Crawford, Johnson, Reimer, Elliott.

Swiss just scored their 3rd goal in about 5 minutes.
Lead Finland 3-1 in a bit of a shocker. Lots of game left though.

What a weird tournament for the Finns. Easily defeat Canada and the US but lose to Denmark and Germany. Now, down two to Switzerland with a period left.
Latvia is keeping it close with the Swedes. 1-1 after 2 in that game.
