In hindsight, the 2015 team under Hartley over performed to such an extreme degree, it fooled management to declare the re-build over. We are only seeing the impact of that season now in many ways.

Lol, no. What they need is an experienced & proven coaching staff, some scoring help up front, and a new system and PP that better utilizes the team's strengths, and also dump some of the dead weight on our bottom 6.

There's no reason this roster shouldn't be in a playoff spot. They've underachieved big time this year.

He's not part of the problem but if a team is willing to pay a high price it may be worth it to bring back a good young player/picks and get that contract off the books before it becomes prohibitive. IMO he was still good this season but there are signs of decline that's probably going to increase annually as he's going to be 35 in October.
