Good period. Other than our craptastic PP, I thought the Flames were the better team. Smith is in the zone. Need a big push in the 3rd to put this game away.

That was a great play by shore to get out of the zone. I like what I see there. Flames are mighty lucky in the last few. But I would argue we are due against these turds.

Don't want to jinx it but tonight the Flames are doing a really excellent job of eliminating secondary scoring chances. Every rebound Smith's let out has been very well covered by the team.
Something I don't think I've seen a lot of over the last few months.

I think they have to pour it on and go for at least a 2 goal cushion. Sitting back is death.

The dreaded Flames lead going into the 3rd.... but the team is playing so much better than on Sunday on so many levels. Clearing the rebounds, hussling after loose pucks, forcing the opposing goalie to make saves.
Need another 20 solid minutes of hockey and perhaps 780 more after that.
