It's undesirable but it actually makes sense from a line management point of view. Otherwise you mess with every other line. For example, you put Frolik up, now you have to replace him (with Brouwer). You put up Jagr, you have to replace him (with Brouwer). This way you probably just play the fourth line way less.

Although you could put Versteeg there. At least he's got some hands.

If you are replacing Ferland, Brouwer is a bit more like him. Plus he plays the correct side.
