BC-chris knocked it out of the ballpark with his gifts to Petr and his Czech Trek 111 hats for those attending the party.
Petr (Calgaryboy) was overwhelmed by the kindness and generousity of everyone there and those who helped to make his trip possible. You have to come meet him at the next event
A good time was had by everyone and it was great to put faces to some user names on this forum.

Hall of fame post. After a few beer Aeneas cracked the 1.5l bottle of Grolsch one of the hockey dads brought and proceeded to down that in near record time. It was all downhill after that.
It was good to meet new people with familiar names. I think one of the interesting things that happened as the night went on the little group of hockey parents who mostly stuck to themselves started talking to the rest of us. I think they saw the true power of CP, both the crazy fanatical side and the ultra giving side.
Thanks to all those who made the evening special by being there for Petr and to those who couldn’t be there but contributed. Special shoutout to Justin for the great necklaces for Petr’s wife and daughter, and to BC-Chris for an entire box of amazing things. The Czech Trek 3 jersey is fantastic. Look for it at the dome over the next few home games. A one of a kind jersey for a one of a kind fan. I’ll try and get the video up later today.
I actually saw Petr at a loss for words at least once which as a radio guy never happens to him. As a result, I say mission accomplished. He was truly blown away by everything. Great job CP!

Was a wonderful time. Thanks Aeneas for being such a gracious host, and the fare was amazing. We'd have needed twice the amount of appetites to clear it all! Had a blast meeting and talking to the various CP'ers too, while steadily getting more and more inebriated.
If you were unable to come out last night, definitely come down to the Craft event on the 18th. It'll be magical.

Want to thank everybody who contributed on that unbeliavable ultrafantastic, superbombastic welcome party for me in Aeneas` house. It was beyond magical for me, was so emotional that I had really tough time to speak. All that support, all those magical gifts, all the atmospere. Cannot describe how lucky I am to be a part of this wonderful community, last night was REALLY SOMETHING!!!! Was not expecting something like that at all. Your support is huge and means A LOT for me!!!!!! I feel really welcomed here, and I cannot be happier! Had tough time to sleep all night, I was and still am full of emotions. I am pretty emotional guy and this was one of the most emotional moments in my life. You were all FANTASTIC!

I had tears in my eyes after that very nice speech from Furnaceface /huge thanks to him and his wife for all those gifts too!!!/.....and then those gifts...and necklaces.......the support from everybody on the party........THAT WAS A NIGHT TO REMEMBER! Had to leave the "stage,"was MOVED BIG TIME!
And of course HUGE THANKS to Aeneas, WHAT A GUY!!!!! Huge friend to me since 2011,doing everything he can to make me happy. Cannot thank him enough for all those years of support!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is my 3rd stay in Calgary, and each time it gets better and better!!!!
It's always the last beer. Doesn't help when the last beer is larger than normal.
The last beer gets a bad rap. I find that culpability could easily be assigned to the many beers before the last one. That last beer is just the one turning the lights off. Hes cool. Hes alright. He just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
