Jagr looks tired after the period. But playing well.

They show Jagr looking so winded on the bench, but on the ice he looks damn good. Great period by the Flames.

I really didn't think Smith would be this good. I knew he could be a streaky goalie who got some Vezina votes in the past, but he has been just unreal so far this season. If he plays anything like this the rest of the way this team will be in fantastic shape.

Presidential shape IMO.

Good period in general by the flames.

The penalties allowed the kings to gain back momentum.

Jagr has been able to create offensive chances every time he's been on the ice so far.

Can't keep giving the kings power play. Too many high quality chances

Jagr looks amazing for a guy playing catch up. Gaudreau came in cold last season and was a mess...but Jagr doesn't even look out of place despite joining the team after the season started. Gassed, maybe. But he always knows where to place himself to make the right play.

I'd love to see what he looks like when he's up to speed. His combination of skill and size make him so formidable offensively.

Smith does look incredible but it probably isn't sustainable. Should probably keep that in mind if he lets in the odd softie or two. He's basically playing like a vezina candidate right now.

First game I've been able to catch this year! Flames look as advertised, defense is ####ing solid.

I hate to say it, but I want Smith to make Kiprusoff look like a mediocre goalie.

He looks much better without Arizona in front of him.

Excellent period by the Flames. Hopefully they can keep this effort up in the 2nd. Only time the Kings had any pressure was on the PP.

That sports select commercial annoys me, does the review call it a goal or not?

Shots at one point were 7-1 Flames. Now it's 15-13 Kings. Thought for sure we out shot them in that period.

The Flames look like a real confident group out there. Good solid 2 way play mixed in with some solid goaltending from Smith.

I'm not loving our PK this season. Something feels off about it compared to last year. I think Chiasson is missed there; maybe Lazar or Jankowski can replace that. Whatever it is now gets me real nervous outside of Smith making every damn save.
