Cancuks next game vs Ducks, they need to continue their winning ways for at least another game. Good job Sven.

Yeah Rememda is a mercenary. He is an outrageous homer for whoever is cutting the checks.

Wow. Oilers are in for a surprise come playoffs because they won't have tired teams coming in and playing them.

If Calgary isn't going to get to play 3 on 3 I can't wait until the Oilers have to play a rested team.

I am quite certain that John Garrett is a volunteer.

No, Textcritic is right - Garrett is at a whole other level. Listening to him trying to justify a pro-Canucks position on every single review is unbelievable. Even John Shorthouse can't hide his bewilderment at Garrett's homerism at times.

I think both Edmonton and Calgary will get in.

St. Louis and LA are both playing terrible hockey. I think the other 7 are set and one spot will go to one of these 2.

As of now in terms of the standings:

Central
Minnesota
Chicago
Nashville

Pacific
San Jose
Edmonton
Anaheim

Wildcard
Calgary
St.Louis/LA

Calgary/Edmonton/Anaheim could all be interchangeable but I think the top 7 won't get knocked out.

Flames playoff odds up to 89.1% after today's games.

With the way LA and St Louis are playing I wouldn't count the Jets out quite yet.

That is true. The games in hand LA and STL have mean nothing if they can't win anything.

Anyone catch the expression on MacKinnon's face throughout that drubbing? Poor guy looks miserable. I bet he's daydreaming about spending the summer working at Tim's with Sid.

The Oilers were putrid for I don't even know how many years, but I'm not sure they had any individual season where they were as hopeless as this Avs team.

Right now, the Caps are on pace for roughly 122 points.
The Avs are on pace for roughly 48 points.
They'd need to play a season that is 208 games long to hit 122 points at that pace.
They wouldn't hit 122 points until mid-January...
In 2019.

Roy may have left because he didn't like the way things were going. Sakis should be feeling some heat.

The Oilers at their absolute Oilers is no good state was 62 points. The Avs are on pace to have 6 less wins than the all time no good Oilers to end all no good Oilers seasons. We are reaching a new level of no good.

Only if the Avs fail to escape their vortex of suck for a decade. The Oilers have been no good for so very, very long.

The Jets are definitely in the wildcard mix as they are just two points back of the Kings and a single point back of the Blues.

Tom loved his Canucks but he was also quite hard on them when it was called for. Don't think I've ever thought Garrett has been even close to being as critical as Tom was.
