I'm surprised so many in this thread were optimistic that it was just a matter of "keep playing how we're playing and we'll win".
This is what win streaks look like even when it's bad hockey teams. Little things go your way and you win games you normally wouldn't win, this has looked like one of those games from the beginning. Flames games have looked the same way to our benefit during win streaks in the past.
It would actually be hilarious if the Canucks somehow did make the playoffs. I watch them a fair bit and I struggle to understand how they have won any more than a handful of games.
Such a terrible team. How are the Flames losing this game?

No problem with that.
Bottom line is that Gios and Gaudreaus giveaways have cost the Flames 2 goals against. One directly and one creating a too many men that cost the FLAMES ... PP goal against.
Not sure elliott is to blame. Most of the 10 shots against have been excellent chances. The flames just haven't been opportunistic with their chances and have given up some transition chances and nucks cashing in.
