So two of the group winners will get Bayern and Real Madrid. Arsenal fans are praying already I hope.

I think we're going to get a really nice mix in the Round of 16.

crazy stat of the day: in group F, Sporting Lisbon conceded less goals (8) than both Dortmund and Real Madrid, but finish 4th. Legia Warsaw conceded 24 (!!!) goals and finish 3rd with a goal differential of -15.

Morgan, Hernandez, Gray, Mendy, Schlupp, Mendy, Okazaki, Musa all played and they brought on Ulloa and Albrighton at halftime. It was a weak lineup, but let's not get carried away ... they shouldn't lose 5-0, even with that lineup.

It's pretty amazing and undoubtedly a little sad for Arsenal fans to know this was going to happen. Especially when Leicester gets the (relatively speaking) layup. Also gotta like Real finishing second in its group and getting an easier draw than Barcelona.

Arsenal should have won their group for once! (oh wait...)

Well look at how that Arsenal group worked out. Finish second? Get Barca. Win the group? Get Bayern. At least the dream Leicester double of winning the Champions League and getting relegated is still very much alive.

i doubt it, Sevilla should crush Leicester. Just more experienced in Europe. They have played in a million of these 2-legged ties.

Bayern aren't the same beast as when we previously met them. I have mixed feelings though. It would be nice to get another team other than the usual Bayern/Barca draw.

Not to mention that Sevilla could very realistically finish ahead of Barca this year.

Yeah, Sevilla are in fine form at the moment and Leicester have been woeful other than the occasional minnow or impressive result.

If I'm a Leicester fan I'm not too thrilled with that draw.

I love this draw! Other than probably the RM/Napoli draw these are wide open!

That's the whole point of the double, it's nonsensical yet after what they did last year seems totally possible. Plus don't crush my dreams, I want a team playing back-to-back nights in Championship and Champions.

I feel bad for Leicester, I really hoped they'd get Bayern or Real. I mean, they'll crash out in this round anyway, so I hoped their fans would at least get to see a top class team. Instead they get a team which isn't a "big name", but which will still crush them. Too bad for them.

Also has to suck for Arsenal. Seems like they always get either Bayern or Barcelona in that round, even when they finish 1st in the group.

Like the EL draw for United. I only hoped they'd avoid a long and tough away trip to Turkey/Russia/Cyprus/etc ... mission accomplished. Pogbas brother plays for St. Etienne, so that is going to be a fun sidestory.

This is Arsenal's best draw in years! An out-of-form Bayern? They should be so lucky!

The worst part for Arsenal is even if they get through Bayern, you know they're getting Barca in the next draw. Maybe Real this time to switch it up.
