or the 49ers at #7? Never expected Chip to go into the season with Kaepernick, but after the Rams and Eagles trades, who knows ...

It seems that there is a chance that a Deforest Buckner, Joey Bosa or Myles Jack have a real possibility of falling well past their player rating in the draft. Would love for the Bears to nab any one of those guys

I'd be worried about Jack's knee but the other two should be good players.

huh, crazy day.
Ian Rapoport @RapSheet
The #Panthers have rescinded the franchise tag offer on CB Josh Norman. He's a free agent. Wow.

Bucs would be morons to not offer an over the top front loaded deal to him. Tons of cap space the next two years and one of the worst secondaries currently.

Depends if he wants to chase cash or a ring though.

he just asked for more than 16m per year from the team that went to the SB with him. I think it's pretty clear what he wants.

Could finally make the Panthers pay, twice a year!

Yeah, what I meant was if two teams offer him a comparable salaries, he's likely going to pick the team with a better shot at contending. The Giants, Bears, Colts, and Bengals all have more cap space than the Bucs and probably better chances of contending for the next few years.

This is one of the nuttiest two weeks before the draft that I've ever seen. What's next, Von Miller is going to become a FA too?

And no way Cleveland trades DOWN from #2 to take a different QB. They are essentially a lock for whoever the top QB will be next year.
But then again, this is Cleveland we are talking about, where all their decision making hinges on the opinion of homeless people.

I want to see him go to the Giants, just for the hilarity of him and Beckham being on the same team.

Gonna laugh my ass off if Bradford goes and lights it up this year and the Eagles have a ridiculous QB controversy in the offseason.

why wouldnt a team like the Panthers who are clearly contenders not keep the franchise tag on him for the year and then let him go next year after another hopeful run to the SB?

But the Bucs offer him a chance to return picks for touchdowns twice a year against Carolina. You know he wants to do the Superman/Dab at the 50 yard line in Carolina every chance he can.

God, Wentz reminds me of so many other late-risers in previous drafts. Ponder, Joey Harrington, etc. Go look at his stats or watch any of his tape and there's absolutely nothing there that screams "top-5 pick" to me.

I hate this trade. Non of the QB's this year seem like "franchise" players. Wentz will sit and learn for a year maybe even two behind Bradford so maybe they can develop him. If had been a decent off season but this is just ugly to me.

And since he's clearing chasing the coin it makes sense to sign in Florida.

Hawks don't have the money but would like to see him in Seattle just to see what the opposition does if Sherman and Norman are on each side and Thomas in the middle. Yikes. Would be fun to watch, for the record not a Hawks fan.
