I understand he was probably scared and emotional and wanted to make sure Jeremy took him along to the final 3, but it came off pretty badly for him.
Meh, it was a good argument. The only part where he took it to far was when he basically said that he'd convince everyone on the Jury to vote for Wentworth. That was when he took it from a great argument to simple extortion. A astute threat though... In retrospect Kelley was probably the only one who could have posed any threat to Jeremy
I think it's kind of funny that Spencer "killed" Stephen Fishbach and now has essentually, in legacy terms, become the new Stephen. Brainiac Strategist that waited to long to take out a Golden Boy and got zero votes at tribal council.
He (Spencer) told Rob Cesternino that he's done (not gonna play again) but I bet he's gonna be back. Maybe not next year but I bet that Somewhere around Survivor 40 they have a returning player season and we get to see a Spencer in his late 20's play.
I find the reunion shows a little too short, which they would make it an hour and a half or two hours. I'd like to hear from everyone.
Glad Jeremy won, he played a solid game. Spencer would have been a good choice as well, but I really hated the way he bullied Jeremy when Kelley got voted out. I understand he was probably scared and emotional and wanted to make sure Jeremy took him along to the final 3, but it came off pretty badly for him.
Crazy to hear Kelley lost 25% of her body weight during the show. Spencer was also a complete rail.
Overall a really good season. Most fun I've had watching the show in a while. Be tough for the next season to compete with this one.
Great post, I thought Jeremy played a good game, I wouldn't classify it as a great game compared to past winners. To me he was pretty passive and didn't really push issues.
I thought Spencer and Kelley played the game harder.
When you talk about making a million dollar play, I felt that Spencer showed that in the final with his convincing extortion to Jeremy, what he did, that's playing the game hard. Kelley really didn't have a convincing argument against that. Tasha was a disappointing finalist, but we knew that she was a vote shield, she didn't play a good game but she talked a good game.

Jeff seemed almost upset with Abi's performance at the final tribal. Like he was expecting fire works and didn't even get a fire cracker. Showed a lot on her part and I honestly think she was trying to be a better person, just hard to teach an old dog new tricks.
Overall I would put it in my top 3 favourite seasons of all time, looking forward to the next season.
Guilty pleasure for me. I think Abi is great, and I think the game needs to have at least one clear villain every season.
But yeah you could see Jeff sag a bit when she did her jury thing, and good for her, she gained a lot of points. She was pawing Joe pretty hard in the reunion show last night, and giving him the come hither eyes.
This was probably a top 3 season, mainly because the game really evolved this year and made votes interesting. But you can bet that future players are going to have to look at voting blocks versus alliances and decide that they're willing to give up the safety of an alliance to play both sides of the board as a mercenary.

No, she really didn't. She made the only argument I think she could have (that Spencer was just as much a threat as she). The only thing I think she could have done more was push to go to Fire... Make an appeal to good TV ("The Fans will think it's cool!") and see if the allure of a great TV moment could tip the scales. But that would have been edited out so for all we know she did.
All-in-all this was A+ Survivor. Probably a top 5 season.
I was actually waiting for the fire challenge to happen, it just made sense to me, but really, Jeremy controlled who went with him in the end, and I think he knew it was a toss up between Spencer and Kelley with Kelley having way more visibility in the game.

when Spencer did the extortion thing, all his "i've changed, i'm a better person this season" argument went up in smoke. It showed his true colours. He lost it there. I'd have liked it if Jeremy called him out on it right there and said "bring it", because no one in the jury would have put up with Spencer after that moment.
I thought that for a 2nd chance show, Wigglesworth's question was fricken awesome.
Jeremy's answer to Kimmi's question was also really good.
And i'm glad that Tasha - who I was a huge fan of - got no love at the final tribal. She was pretty quick to call a whole bunch of other people "goats" but she would have been vying for that award herself.

I'm still a sucker for the very first one, maybe because it was new and full of holy crap moments and had the player that defined that game in Richard Hatch who was brilliant in that first year.

Yea Palau, Heroes vs Villains and Second Chance go down as my three favourite seasons, in that order.

Can someone suggest what season would be considered the best of all time?
The general consensus is that Heroes V. Villains is the best season of all time... I disagree but a lot of people really like it. I mostly hated it because I can't stand Russell Hantz and I was thoughly Russell'ed out midway through.
My personal Top 5 is probably (in not particular order) Borneo, Pearl Island, Marquesas, Second Chance, & Blood Vs. Water.
Worst of All Time is (IMO) either One World or Redemption Island.
Thinking about the best seasons makes me wonder what makes for a bad season. Bad contestant chemistry? A big Alliance formed early that runs the game start to finish? What makes a Survivor season a bad one?
I always thought the season where Kim won was the weakest of all time. Just seemed like nobody was even trying to play the game there and I felt like she was even surprised that she was in the finals and eventually won. I almost stopped watching after that.
Even Sophies season was better.

IMO Kim played the best game ever for a first-time player. That's why One World was so boring. So self-aware and capable socially/physically/strategically, she knew what she was doing the entire time. I really would like to see what she could do in an All-Stars scenario.
One World, South Pacific, Redemption Island, and Caramoan are all pretty terrible. I never want to see Special agent Phillip Sheppard or Brandon Hantz ever again. The amount of screen time that went to those two in each of their seasons was embarrassing.
Micronesia(The first Fans vs Favorites), Heroes vs Villains, Borneo (season 1) are widely considered the best seasons. Cagayan is probably my personal favorite.
They had the Borneo and Micronesia tied for 1st. Second chance at #5.
You can really see the difference between Spencer and Jeremy in the final. Spencer is always talking about being a more open person, but still comes across like a robot. Jeremy was able to show those emotions, and connected with the jury better. Spencer did the exact same thing he criticized Woo for in his first season by taking the best player. When he flipped on Stephen, he did became the new Stephen, as mentioned earlier.
I was actually waiting for the fire challenge to happen, it just made sense to me, but really, Jeremy controlled who went with him in the end, and I think he knew it was a toss up between Spencer and Kelley with Kelley having way more visibility in the game.
I think if it went to fire, whoever won would have got the jury votes. It's a pretty dramatic way to make the final three, and it happens in front of the jury.
On the one hand you'd have Kelley who fought her way in and stuck around even though she was on the bottom. And on the other you'd have Spencer who plays the game the "right way" by giving it everything he's got.
